Link: I just got a Fallout 3 mod to run on Xbox. Link: Fallout 3 mods on the 360 on the Vault Thats it! I hope someone can take this, make some sense of it, clean it up and streamline the process. Firstly, I used xexloader to install fallout 3 to an external usb hd from the retail disc.
It wasnt until I tried an early one that everything seemed to load up and actually work. Ausir, from that place we do not speak of, reports that a user by the name of gir, of the Xbox Scene has apparently found a way to load Fallout 3 mods into his Xbox version of the game:Ok, Ill explain it the best I can.The first save I tried was a later save and it took a couple tries to get it to load. I just dropped it into the retail hd with the rest of the expansions.Īfter getting everything put back together, I loaded up fo3 through xexloader and what do ya know? My little "House Mod" showed up in the downloads list. When that was all said and done, I had a shiny new live container. Also, instead of telling it youre making a demo, select the "content" option. Just make sure you fill out the gameid and other stuff for fallout 3. Im not sure what all I needed to put in it, so I just put everything in. Then, I used this guide to help me make a live container for the mods files.

I had noticed earlier that the title update container had an esp file in it so, i figured what the heck? Its a longshot, but ill give it a try. Then I took the contents of the mod and put them in their respective places in the fallout 3 directory. Then, I edited the fallout3.ini as instructed by the "manual" instructions from this.

WARNING: I'm having problems with Fallout 3 GOTY- PC.nothing that would make me suggest you not get the game but you should know that on the official forums page there's a sticky about conflicts between Fallout 3 and "emulator" programs.īefore you install the game.you should read that.Ausir, from that place we do not speak of, reports that a user by the name of gir, of the Xbox Scene has apparently found a way to load Fallout 3 mods into his Xbox version of the game:Ok, I'll explain it the best I can. How To Install Mods In Fallout 4 Xbox OneHow To Install Fallout 4 Mods for Xbox OneStep One: Update Fallout 4. You may not need this or any other controller emulator going forward, but for Oblivion, this program makes a 360 controller work just like the console version what I wanted to hear.F.O.B (fresh outta the box). Most games coming out recently all work with it out of the box.
You are right though in that it looks like a 360 controller is the way to go from this point on. I chose this one because of the extensive forum already set up as well as the hundreds of profiles ready to go despite the $20 activation tag. I believe there are some alternatives that may or may not be free as well.

You can download the actual program at several places on trial and pay for it later. The program I was referring to the other day is called Pinnacle Game Profiler. I found out the the 360 controller does work with Fallout 3 right out of the box. So do you think your site would help with a 360 controller on Oblivion? From what I've discovered Star Wars Force Unleashed will also be compatible with the 360 controller, so it probably makes more sense to get a 360 one and try to get it to work for Oblivion.since future games will be geared toward the 360 controller I'll get the 360 one if it's not too much of a hassle to use. I found out afterwards that only 360 controllers will work. The game will "recognize" the controller and you can map buttons to it but.the controller won't work. I had a PC controller went through all the programming stuff. I could post it when I get home this afternoon if you or anyone else is interested.Well, I have F3 for PC and it does not support any controller except the XBox one.unless you download some type of emulator program. It's pretty easy to set up and it works great. I don't know if the game easily lets you use a 360 controller or not, but I found a site back when I couldn't get a controller to work properly for Oblivion.
